Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm
* Flexibility Required – Evenings & Weekends During CNE (August 21st - September 7th)
Pay Rate: $20.40 / hr

The CNE, often affectionately referred to as The Ex, is Canada’s largest community event and one of the top ten agricultural fairs in North America, attracting approximately 1.6 million visitors annually over the course of its 18-day run. ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Admissions & Administration Specialist, Event Services and Operations, the Pass & Admissions Assistant’s role will be to provide administrative support to the CNE admissions team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Supervise and Administer the CNE Pass program
· Assist in the inventory of all passes distributed for the CNE
· Administer, track, and distribute CNE passes
· Administer, sell, track and distribute CNE Staff Passes
· Administer and distribute CNE Meal Tickets
· Assist with the reconciliation of passes as required
· Assist with the administration, distribution and reconciliation of all Media Accreditation
· Assist with the administration of the Advance Sales programs
· Assisting with updating manuals and procedures as required
· Provide assistance in Event Services & Operations Department as deemed necessary
· Typing correspondence, filing, photocopying, and processing mail
· Answering telephone, taking and relaying messages
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
· Must be available to work flexible hours from August 21st to September 7th for the duration of the 18-day fair including evenings, weekends and Labour Day holiday
· Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly approach
· Experience with cash handling and control procedures is considered an asset
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to engage in physical tasks, including safe lifting and moving heavy items
