Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Front-End Developer/Web Designer you will work on the front end of our products and features, and work in collaboration with our back-end developers and research team. You are responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving client-facing software. You will also be required to deliver innovative, engaging prototypes using the latest in front-end technologies. 

You have demonstrated analytical skills, a commitment to quality, a collaborative work ethic, and cutting-edge coding skills. You live and breathe the fundamentals of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and good user design. You demonstrate leadership, technical curiosity, creativity as well as forward thinking with a passion for growth and innovation. 

Basic qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 3-5 years experience in web technologies such as JavaScript, Typescript, React/Angular, HTML5, and CSS3
  • 3-5 years experience in designing responsive web interfaces with cross-browser compatibility
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment 
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
  • Ability to manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables

Preferred qualifications and experience

  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or other design tools 
  • Knowledge of the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques
