The Property Services Inspector safeguards the quality and guest-readiness of Whistler Platinum's property portfolio. This role conducts detailed pre-arrival and periodic inspections, flags maintenance and housekeeping deficiencies before they impact guests, and coordinates with operations teams to resolve issues quickly. Success requires a sharp eye for detail, clear and proactive communication, and an unwavering standard for quality that protects both the guest experience and homeowner trust.

What You'll Do

Every guest's first impression starts with you. As Property Services Inspector, you'll be the final check between "done" and "guest-ready," catching what others miss and keeping our homes at the standard our owners expect.

  • Conduct detailed pre-arrival inspections, ensuring every property meets Whistler Platinum's cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, property damage, or missing items, and follow through to timely resolution
  • Verify housekeeping standards have been met, providing clear feedback to the team when they haven't
  • Ensure guest amenities, supplies, and in-home technology are stocked, functional, and ready to go
  • Complete digital inspection checklists and document findings with photos where needed
  • Coordinate with the Property Services Supervisor, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams to resolve issues quickly
  • Respond to last-minute guest and homeowner requests with a proactive, solutions-first approach
  • Support seasonal deep cleans, inventory checks, and property upgrades
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of each home's unique features and operational quirks
  • Jump into light housekeeping or maintenance tasks when immediate guest satisfaction is on the line
  • Other duties as required - flexibility keeps our operation running smoothly


What We're Looking For

  • Experience in property inspections, housekeeping, or hospitality quality control (an asset)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and genuine pride in high standards
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple properties and priorities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Tech-comfortable, with ease using mobile devices and digital checklists
  • Knowledge of Whistler and the surrounding area (an advantage)
  • Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as required
  • Valid driver's license required
