Scale Operator/Project Support (Temporary)

We are currently seeking a temporary full-time Scale Operator / Project Support team member for one of our project sites, beginning approximately July 6, 2026. This position is expected to last 3–4 months and plays an important role in supporting hauling operations and maintaining accurate project records.

The successful candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in an active construction environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate truck weight scales at the project site
• Record incoming and outgoing truck weights accurately
• Issue weigh tickets to drivers leaving the site
• Maintain spreadsheets and records of hauled material and truck load weights
• Ensure weight records are complete, accurate, and up to date
• Communicate professionally with truck drivers and site personnel
• Assist with project documentation and record keeping as required
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in construction, trucking, earthworks, aggregates, or a related industry is preferred
• Comfortable working in an active construction environment
• Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets and data entry
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable and dependable attendance
• Previous scale operation experience is considered an asset but is not required

Working Conditions:

• Based in a job-site trailer on the project site
• Primarily indoor work at a computer workstation
• Extended hours may be required during active hauling operations
• Weekend work may be required based on project requirements

This position may be well suited for individuals with construction, equipment, trucking, dispatch, project support, or labourer experience who are comfortable using computers and maintaining accurate records.
