WellFort is seeking a Denturist to join our Health n’ Smiles team!  Health n’ Smiles provides services to under resourced families living in the Region of Peel.


The Denturist will be responsible for designing, constructing, and fitting dentures for patients, ensuring their comfort and functionality. This role requires a strong understanding of dental anatomy, laboratory procedures, and patient care. The Denturist will work closely with patients to assess their needs and provide high-quality denture solutions. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' oral health and denture needs. 
  • Design and fabricate complete and partial dentures using appropriate materials and techniques. 
  • Collaborate with dental professionals to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient requirements. 
  • Utilize CAD software for denture design and modifications. 
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment progress. 
  • Educate patients on proper denture care and maintenance. 
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the laboratory environment. 
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques. 

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a dental laboratory setting or as a Dental Assistant is preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. 
  • Proficiency in CAD software for designing dental appliances is highly desirable. 
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. 
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. 
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
