Designation : Senior Tableau Developer (TABLEAU)

Job Band : 8

Location : Remote (WFH)

Reporting To : Manager – Big Data Analytics & Data Visualisation

Technical Requirements:

• Minimum 5 Years' Professional work experience in Data Visualisation and KPI Dashboaring out of which 3 Years's MUST BE in Tableau
• Lead delivery of visualizations that are in scope of the team in a timely and efficient manner
• Liaise with the client team in scoping the requirements and convert to a suitable visualization (that is developed over multiple, agile sprints)
• Deep expertise in Tableau Visualization, Admin and Publishing

Required Skills:

• Provide inputs for improving dashboard performance and suggest efficient data transformations for creating dashboards
• Be a part of a highly competent & motivated team in delivering best-in-class models resulting in meaningful insights to clients Specialized inTableau
• Working exposure in BI and Visualization platforms for developing Business Dashboard solutions
• Strong experience on designing schema and creating Facts, Attributes, Hierarchies and Transformations
• Exposure to Tableau Desktop, Server, Online, automation, database setup, configuration and management
• Experience in working with large databases and datamarts (in GB and TB of data), with a focus on efficiency of data access to run analytics engagements

Job Responsibilities:

• Take a leading role in building ourTableau center of excellence by delivering dashboarding and visualization requirements at various clients
• Involved in creating database objects like tables, views, procedures, triggers, and functions using Building, publishing customized interactive reports and dashboards, report scheduling usingTableau server
• Created action filters, parameters and calculated sets for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau
• Restricted data for particular users using Row level security and User filters
• Developed Tableau visualizations and dashboards usingTableauDesktop
• Developed Tableau workbooks from multiple data sources using Data Blending
• Analyze metrics and reporting needs, and propose solutions to create necessary dashboards or reports
• Collaborative working with SCRUM team and other roles like Product Owner, SCRUM masters
• Requirement grooming, effort estimation and release plans
• Meeting the sprint and project goals
• Handling technical spikes, POC, data requirement specifications, validations and visualisation design detailing for the team
• Good Communication Skill Sets for Interfacing with Customers and SCRUM Team

Desirable Skills (Optional):

• Good understanding of KPI reporting and performance metrics in Retail/ Ecommerce/ Energy/ Utility/ Healthcare industry
• Ability to assess performance of data pipelines for latency and query run times
• Atitude and Aptitude to learn
• Good to have SSRS, Power BI
• Agile / Scrum based approach
• Tableau certified or any other technical certifications will be a plus
