Job Summary:
We’re hiring for a Social Media Coordinator (1-2 years of experience) to support our growing social presence. This entry-level role will assist with content creation, community management, trend monitoring and creator outreach. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of social media, a sharp visual eye and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced marketing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the creation and editing of social-first video content, primarily for TikTok.
· Research emerging trends, audio, and competitor activity for relevance & engagement.
· Draft captions, scripts and hooks aligned with the PUR tone of voice.
· Support influencer outreach efforts and coordinate product gifting.
· Assist with social media reporting for performance tracking and analysis.
· Moderate comments, direct messages, and brand interactions to ensure timely responses.
· Monitor social channels for engagement opportunities, mentions, and trending conversations for brand awareness.
Qualifications:
· Completed a post-secondary program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
· 1-2 year of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing.
· Experience creating and editing TikTok content and Instagram Reels.
· Comfortable using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and CapCut.
· Comfortable with MS Office Suite especially, Excel for analysis & reporting as well as PowerPoint.
· Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite or similar platforms).
· Basic knowledge of Meta analytics platforms and social reporting.
· Strong written and visual communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail, including proofreading and quality control.
· A pulse on pop culture and emerging social media trends.
· Collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally.
Hiring Range:
$55-65K per year
