Pay Rate: $26/ HR

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Guest Services Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing key CNE guest services programs, including Trains, Lost Children, Lost & Found, EMS, St. John Ambulance, and Scouts.
This role plays a critical part in delivering a seamless and positive guest experience across the grounds by leading teams, managing operations, and ensuring service excellence.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Supervise staff overseeing core service areas within the Guest Services Department
· Determine staffing requirements and develop staff schedules
· Screen, hire, and train staff (and volunteers where applicable) in accordance with applicable legislation and CNE standards
· Assist in termination of staff, when necessary, in consultation with the COO and HR Director
· Establish employee goals and performance objectives for the department
· Coach and develop staff to maximize performance and engagement
· Delegate responsibilities to supervisory staff and monitor performance
· Track staff hours and prepare payroll submissions
· Contribute to departmental budget planning and monitor expenditures
· Ensure program budgets and financial controls are adhered to
· Maintain and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and operational standards
· Liaise with internal teams, clients, and third-party service providers
· Support the Guest Experience Department in delivering exceptional service
· Prepare and complete daily departmental summary reports
· Coordinate move-in logistics for Guest Services satellite locations, including the Guest Relations Office, Trains trailer, Salon 102 (ECC), and Better Living Centre
· Lead and oversee the 18-day staff training program
· Manage department uniform ordering and distribution
· Oversee move-out operations, including inventory management, packing, and storage
· Support CNE Emergency Procedures as required
· Address and resolve escalated guest concerns in a timely and professional manner
· Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance service delivery
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
· Must have a valid G2 or G Driver’s License
· Post-secondary education or a combination of relevant education and experience
· Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a customer service-focused environment
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
· Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
· Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
