About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-driven Retail Operations & RQ4 Systems Administrator to support our leadership team and strengthen the operational backbone of our wireless retail business.
This role is ideal for someone who knows RQ4 inside and out, understands how inventory, reporting, and financial accuracy connect, and enjoys building clean, efficient systems that make a business run better.
You will work closely with ownership and our 2IC to ensure our data, reporting, and operational workflows are accurate, optimized, and scalable.
This is not a customer-facing sales role — it’s a behind-the-scenes impact role that directly supports profitability, accountability, and clarity.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
RQ4 / POS Ownership
- Act as the internal expert on RQ4 (RetailIQ-IQMetrix) specifically for mobile phone POS applications.
- Ensure product setup, SKUs, pricing, promotions, and inventory logic are accurate
- Identify and fix process gaps causing inventory or reporting errors
- Support clean month-end, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation
- Help improve how RQ4 is used across locations (efficiency, consistency, accuracy)
Reporting & Insights
- Build and maintain reports for leadership (sales, margins, inventory, performance trends)
- Translate raw data into clear, usable insights
- Support decision-making by identifying inconsistencies or opportunities in the numbers
Administrative & Executive Support
- Provide structured administrative support to ownership and 2IC
- Help manage documentation, SOPs, and internal workflows
- Support projects related to operations, reporting, and process improvement
Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend better ways of doing things
- Help standardize how data and systems are used across locations
- Support system cleanup and long-term scalability
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Strong experience with RQ4 (RetailIQ) in a wireless retail environment
- High attention to detail and comfort working with numbers and systems
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
- Clear communicator who can support leadership without needing constant direction
Nice to Have
- Experience in multi-location retail
- Familiarity with TELUS/Koodo environments
- Experience supporting executives or leadership teams
- Process improvement or operations background
