Position Description
Currently, Tetranex is seeking a full-time Project Planner/Scheduler (Intermediate to Senior Level) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project timelines with multi-discipline teams to achieve realistic and achievable deadlines.
- Understand activity relationships and sequencing across the full project lifecycle, including scope, constraints, and decision points reflecting a critical path and enabling meaningful float analysis.
- Integrate the entire project work scope into a master schedule, assign resources and generate resource loading reports for workload planning.
- Perform weekly progress updates in coordination with multi-disciplines teams.
- Develop and perform critical path and risk analysis as required.
- Apply knowledge of scope control and change management, including incorporating approved changes into the schedule baseline.
- Apply earned value management (EVM) principles.
- Identify potential schedule variances and delays, and facilitate timely mitigation.
- Demonstrate familiarity with basic cost analysis and forecasting as it relates to planning and scheduling.
- Communicate project timelines, milestones, and deadlines to stakeholders including project teams, clients, and management.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant engineering/procurement (EP) project controls and scheduling experience.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project Software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to exceeding client and project expectations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of management, discipline engineers, clients, and vendors.
- Self-motivated and capable of working in a project team environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
