Position Description

Currently, Tetranex is seeking a full-time Regional Lead for our Grande Prairie Office. This position requires a dynamic individual that is willing to multitask based on the changing requirements within the office. This could range from Project Management, Business Development, Technical Lead/Support, and Office Administrative duties.


Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Oversee and manage electrical, control, and instrumentation projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve project goals.


Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Grande Prairie region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Collaborate with the Calgary team to leverage multidisciplinary resources and expertise.


Technical Lead:

  • Act as a technical resource to various projects within a Controls & Automation, Electrical and/or Instrumentation capacity. (Preference given to Controls/Automation.)
  • Provide technical guidance/mentoring to junior resources.
  • Co-ordinate technical support as required to efficiently produce project deliverables.
  • Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control checking and guidance within area of technical expertise.


Office Administration:

  • Act as a point of contact to Calgary administration for the day-to-day operation of the GP office.
  • Coordinate vendors and contracts for the safe and efficient operations of the GP office.
  • Provide Health, Safety and Environment guidance for the office and ensure that all related policies and procedures are adhered to.


Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.
  • Degree or diploma from a recognized technical institute in one or more of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering/Design, Control Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or comparable Industry experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related working experience in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering/Design, Instrumentation Engineering, or Control Systems Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Project Management role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Proven technical competence within the Controls/Automation, Electrical and/or Instrumentation disciplines backed by solid technical post secondary training. (Preference given for automation experience.)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment.
  • Proven experience working independently to organize, plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects / tasks simultaneously.
