The ideal front-end developer candidate would have experience with/knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and .NET.

You’d be slightly insulted if we asked you what a box model is. You know your stuff – HTML, jQuery, you name it – and you’re anxious to show off your magic on the canvas once in a while, just for fun. Pixel-perfect is your middle name, but you acknowledge the purpose of the quick and dirty. However, nothing ever goes live without thorough testing to assure your code meets standards. What you strive for is absolute perfection.


 


 

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities 

  • Create awesome, spotless, front-end code from scratch, compliant with latest W3 and accessibility      specifications.
  • Develop websites, landing pages, emails and win based application using computer programming languages such as VB.net, C#, HTML/CSHTML, CSS, JavaScript and MS SQL.
  • Make changes to existing web applications according to the feedback received from the end-users or customers. In some cases, changes are also made in order to update the applications compatibility with the latest operating systems.
  • Test the applications and web sites on different web browsers to ensure a standard user experience for the clients across all platforms.
  • Work closely with designers, back-end developers and other team members.
  • Support key IT projects, providing day-to-day updates to manager as directed.
  • Other duties as required.

Experience 

  • 1-3+ years .NET application development experience (up to .NET 4.5)
  • Experience working with .NET web application development technologies and Stack Visual Studio, ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, LINQ, Web Services (API, SOAP, JSON, REST, XML)
  • Proven experience with web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JScript)
  • Working knowledge of database design, scripting and optimization with MS SQL Server 
  • Experience developing Data Access Layer components using ADO.Net and Entity Framework.
  • Experience in version controls such as GIT or TFS.
  • Knowledge in automated/manual testing.
  • Working knowledge of OO Design principles and patterns.
  • Designing, coding and testing program modules in line with functional requirements and development standards.
  • Experience in working with open source and third party platforms, including integration of 3rd party components to .NET web applications.
  • Experience working to deadlines and delivering code in aggressive timelines
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Participation within the full Software Development Life Cycle .
  • Experience translating a Photoshop or Illustrator file into rock-steady HTML.
