We’re looking for a social media lover. Someone who is energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about being social and understand how to leverage it for a brand.


WHAT’S THE SCOOP?

You will represent SureGifts across the entire social media sphere. Everything from content strategy, fan acquisition strategy, influencer engagement, live event coverage, and more! This is an interesting position at SureGifts where you can really shine, and will provide you with a career path and opportunities on a growing team and therefore, being flexible and the ability to wear many hats is key!


WHO’S UP FOR THIS?

You live and breathe social media every day and jump early on the newest trends. You are passionate about social and understand how to leverage it for a brand. You will own daily channel management for all of SureGifts’ social media channels across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Medium, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, etc;. In addition, you will represent SureGifts outside of SureGifts’ owned channels by identifying opportunities to participate & engage to build a brand loyal community.


THE DETAILS (AKA IMPORTANT STUFF)

  • Developing strategies to increase followers and engagement
  • Utilizing reported metrics to make recommendations on content and fan acquisition strategy
  • Manage budget for paid promotions
  • Discovering key influencers and trendsetters on each channel that we can work with
  • Capture real-time photos, videos & content to share through our social channels.
  • Attend in-store events and capture live content. Engage with our fans & followers real-time during events
  • Execute live contests & surprise & delights to deepen relationships with fans & followers; manage fulfillment of prizes.
  • Social media never sleeps. We are looking for someone to represent us online throughout the week, including nights and weekends

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong understanding and daily usage of social media across all major social channels including developing + curating user-generated content
  • Basic photo & video capturing skills for social channels. (Must provide samples).
  • Know & apply the ins-and-outs of social media written language (Must provide social writing samples).
  • Critical thinking, sound judgment and ability to identify trends and take quick action to maximize brand opportunity.
  • Stellar time and project management skills, coupled with a strong ability to prioritize as needed.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • BA in marketing, communication, or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years consumer-focused social media experience
  • Retail experience preferred
