  • Self-source and develop leads for new business generation through daily prospecting and proactive lead follow-up
  • Meet with merchants at their locations to conduct needs analysis and promote Suregifts solutions
  • Effectively manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to close, using a consultative sales approach
  • Build customer confidence in your ability to successfully solve their business needs with Suregifts solutions in a prompt and professional manner
  • Proactively build rapport and gain the trust and respect of merchants
  • Retain clients by building relationships and growing portfolios through relationship management and cross consulting
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in retail, e-commerce, the payments industry and the overall business environment are integral to your sales success
  • Achieve targets and other corporate objectives


Candidate Requirements:

  • B2B field sales experience; experience selling payment solutions to SMB will be of advantage
  • Demonstrated success in achieving aggressive sales goals and quotas in a self-sourcing environment
  • Experience with cold-calling, self-sourcing and building a book of business
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment
  • Technologically savvy
  • Ability to develop a plan to effectively build a pipeline and generate top line revenue growth
  • Highly self-motivated, personable, aggressive, energetic, and creative
  • Professional presence required and ability to effectively interface with executives
  • Ability to listen to clients, understand their needs and determine how we can help them achieve their goals
  • Comfortable with regional travelsĀ 

In addition to prior outside sales experience, relationship management and/or account management experience:

  • Experience and demonstrated capability to build new relationships with clients based on trust
  • Experience leveraging network and prospecting using social media, service organizations, cold calling, and other salesĀ skills to help achieve revenue goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred
