About the Role 

We’re looking for a Software Developer to help maintain and enhance the backend systems that power our security intelligence and digital monitoring capabilities. You’ll work on services that collect, analyze, and automate data from multiple sources to give organizations a clearer view of their online footprint and potential risks. 

This role is ideal for someone with a solid technical foundation in networking and web technologies, a strong grasp of backend development, and a curious, innovative mindset eager to solve complex data and automation challenges. 

What You’ll Do 

• Maintain and enhance backend services and data processing pipelines 
• Develop and optimize Python-based APIs, integrations, and automation workflows 
• Design and manage serverless components using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and SQS 
• Write efficient SQL queries and manage relational data structures 
• Contribute to the architecture of scalable, resilient backend systems 
• Collaborate closely with the product and data teams on new features and optimizations 
• Experiment with new technologies to improve performance, reliability, and automation 

What You Bring 

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or in another related discipline with a significant programming component. 
• 1-2 years of experience developing cloud-based and enterprise applications using Python and/or JavaScript, including software design, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. 
• Experience working with AWS cloud services (such as Lambda, S3, EC2, API Gateway, DynamoDB, or other relevant services) to build, deploy, and support applications. 
• Experience designing, querying, and maintaining database systems, including MySQL and Elasticsearch, with an understanding of data modeling, indexing, and performance optimization. 
• Exposure to or experience with AI/ML integrations, including leveraging APIs, LLMs, automation workflows, or AI-powered features within software applications. 
• Strong documentation practices and experience using Git/GitHub for source control, code reviews, and collaborative development. 
• Curiosity, ownership, and a drive to innovate through experimentation 
• Experience with data pipelines, monitoring tools, or security automation would be considered an asset
