About the Role 

We’re looking for an Intermediate-level Backend Developer to help maintain and enhance the backend systems that power our security intelligence and digital monitoring capabilities. You’ll work on services that collect, analyze, and automate data from multiple sources to give organizations a clearer view of their online footprint and potential risks. 

This role is ideal for someone with a solid technical foundation in networking and web technologies, a strong grasp of backend development, and a curious, innovative mindset eager to solve complex data and automation challenges. 

What You’ll Do 

• Maintain and enhance backend services and data processing pipelines 
• Develop and optimize Python-based APIs, integrations, and automation workflows 
• Design and manage serverless components using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and SQS 
• Write efficient SQL queries and manage relational data structures 
• Support the ingestion, normalization, and enrichment of large data sets from multiple external sources 
• Contribute to the architecture of scalable, resilient backend systems 
• Collaborate closely with the product and data teams on new features and optimizations 
• Experiment with new technologies to improve performance, reliability, and automation 

What You Bring 

• 2–4 years of backend development experience (Python preferred) 
• Solid understanding of networking and web service fundamentals (DNS, HTTP/S, IPs, ports, certificates, etc.) 
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, EC2, and S3 
• Strong command of SQL and relational database principles 
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous processing 
• Good documentation habits and version control practices (Git/GitHub) 
• Curiosity, ownership, and a drive to innovate through experimentation 
• Bonus: Experience with data pipelines, monitoring tools, or security automation
