JOB DESCRIPTION

The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce high-quality machined parts as per specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a machine shop and have entry level machining experience.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Support CNC team with the operation of CNC lathes and mills to produce precision machined parts.
• Verify and record dimensions of parts and adjust machine accordingly to obtain desired quality of end product.
• Perform maintenance requirements on machines and maintain working area and equipment.
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports on equipment.
• Other machining and QC related tasks as required.
• Participate in company safety program and contribute to safe working environment.

WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED?

• Experience with CNC Lathe and Mill operation and set up.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a machine shop would be an asset.
• WHMIS (2015) safety certification would be an asset.
• Valid Class 5 drivers license or reliable transportation access.
• Forklift license would be an asset.
