We are looking for a full-time permanent Assistant Behavior Consultant to join our Behavior Analysis and Consultation team.

Description of Position:
The Assistant Behaviour Consultant offers a full range of consultation and support services to families of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including conducting intake assessments, Functional Behaviour Assessment, designing Positive Behaviour Support Plans, hands on training to parents and support staff, evaluation of program success and follow-up with families after service.
Reporting to: Manager of Behaviour Services-Sources North
General Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based caregiver training in group or individual settings.
- Maintain a caseload and provide direct services to families referred to the program.
- Collect/monitor/record data and review client progress with analyst and other team members.
- Develop, teach, and demonstrate the strategies of the program.
- Case management and report writing.
- Write accurate session notes and maintain files.
- Attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings.
- Communicate with other professionals to provide wrap around care support.
Program-specific Responsibilities:
- Use of personal vehicle.
- Willingness to travel.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (ex: Special Education, Educational Psychology, Behavioural Sciences).
- One years’ experience conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments resulting in the creation of a Positive Behaviour Intervention Plan with people with behaviour challenges.
- Currently pursuing BCBA credentials with a planned end date.
- Class 5 driver’s license.
- Ability to travel for work.
- Ability to use a reliable personal vehicle for work.
