Position: Manager of Youth Services
Location: Lilac Place and Peace Arch Service Center - 882 Maple St, White Rock
Hours: 35hrs
Salary: $34.51
Start Date: April 13, 2026
We are looking for a full-time permanent Manager of Youth Services to join our Lilac Place and Mental Health Child and Youth Outreach teams! Ideally, this individual must be passionate about supporting youth, possess infectiously enthusiastic leadership qualities and be administratively attentive.

Description of Position:
Reporting to: Executive Director of Community Services
General Responsibilities:
- Managing staff and overseeing operations for Lilac Place, a semi-residential therapeutic program for youth and families.
- Managing staff and overseeing operations for Mental Health Child and Youth Outreach Services
- Ensuring all youth and family members served are receiving person-centered, collaborative, trauma-informed, culturally safe services.
- Liaise with Ministry of Child and Family Development
Program-specific Responsibilities:
- Supports and trains staff where necessary to assess, create services plans, and deliver direct service to our clients. Support staff to work through challenging service issues as they arise
- Takes a leadership role in Integrated Case Management meetings or other case conferences.
- Responsible for ensuring that the referral process between funding bodies and programs is fluid and appropriately managed.
- Ensures that all Community Care Licensing requirements are followed on an on-going basis.

Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Child and Youth Care, or related. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Five years or more experience working directly with youth (Mandatory)
- Two years leadership experience (Preferred)
- Training or courses related to family systems (Emotionally Focused Family Therapy an asset) mental health, substance theory and intervention
- Requires experience with, and understanding of, youth and families dealing with mental health and behavioural challenges
- Knowledge of residential programs routines and purpose.
- Training in and understanding of providing culturally safe care.
