Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Representative (Sales Closer) to manage client relationships, oversee active sales opportunities, and close deals for rooftop safety projects.

A key component of this role is the ability to navigate procurement processes within larger organizations including long lead-time sales cycles, complex multi-step decision making, and substantial coordination of details. Typical opportunities require iterative back-and-forth on quotations, clarifications, technical information, and the sharing/review of engineered drawings.

The ideal candidate combines technical sales experience with a strong understanding of construction or safety systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver against ambitious sales targets.

This is a full-time, in-office/field-based role based in Mississauga reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales pipeline from qualified opportunity to close.
  • Conduct site meetings with existing clients and oversee new project opportunities.
  • Prepare tender packs, detailed quotes, and proposals.
  • Source and onboard bidders for tender projects; maintain strong relationships with key contacts.
  • Navigate procurement requirements for mid-size to large organizations, including documentation, approvals, and multi-stakeholder reviews.
  • Coordinate ongoing clarification rounds, including revisions to quotations, technical details, and engineered drawings.
  • Negotiate pricing and close deals in line with company targets.
  • Document sales activities in CRM and maintain accurate pipeline visibility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and project execution.

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of progressive B2B sales experience within construction, project management, industrial services, or safety-related sectors, with a consistent record of exceeding targets.
  • Deep understanding of construction methodology, building systems, and on-site workflows, enabling confident discussions with contractors, owners, and technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience navigating procurement processes for large or complex organizations, including long-lead time opportunities, formal documentation requirements, and multi-step approvals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and close complex, customized sales involving multiple decision-makers, extensive quoting/clarification rounds, and detailed technical information such as engineering drawings.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels—from field personnel to senior executives.
  • Highly organized and accountable, with the ability to manage and advance many concurrent opportunities while maintaining rigorous follow-up and documentation.
  • Proficient with CRM platforms and sales enablement tools and disciplined in maintaining accurate pipelines, forecasts, and activity tracking.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, with a strong willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory, including occasional site visits and client meetings.
