Business Development Representative

About the Job
Shoelace is growing and looking to add an experienced Business Development Representative to our team. In this role, you’ll leverage your experience in outbound sales to identify, connect and land meetings with growing ecommerce brands.
Working alongside our Go-to-Market team, you’ll be challenged to both build and execute a sales playbook that you can then help implement across a growing sales team.
Shoelace manages ad spend on behalf of growing ecommerce brands and while we’ll ask you to build some of your own pipeline, you’ll benefit from an exploding e commerce environment, our strong reputation in the industry and a growing list of inbound opportunities. We’ll support your growth while giving you a lot of autonomy to experiment. In your day to day you’ll be asked to:
- Qualify inbound leads then connect, pitch and book meetings via phone and email
- Identify new areas of growth while testing, iterating and building a repeatable playbook
This job requires at least 2-3 years of quota carrying sales experience preferably while leveraging and maintaining a CRM. While experience at a B2B SaaS environment is directly leverageable, Shoelace is open to capable, driven sales people that come from a number of backgrounds.
Shoelace helps over 400 D2C brands, retailers and other merchants grow their businesses by building and optimizing ads across Facebook, Instagram and other platforms. We leverage technology which enables us to do the same work an agency might do but more efficiently and therefore for less cost. It’s a simple concept, we’ve developed a reputation for doing it well and our customers love us. As such, we’re growing (really quickly).

Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 depending on experience
