The Opportunity:


As the Social Media Manager, you play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our agency's social media strategy, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives. This multifaceted position requires you to develop and implement innovative strategies, create compelling content, and foster community engagement across various social media platforms. You will oversee the agency's social media presence, supporting initiatives across departments such as marketing, talent management, HR, and finance. Your responsibilities include developing comprehensive strategies, managing a social media coordinator, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business goals.


What you would be doing:


Strategy

  • Develop a strategy that aligns with and advances the overarching objectives of the agency
  • Customize content for each platform's audience while ensuring overall coherence (i.e. promote the dinner series across all platforms but ensure messaging is tailored to talent on IG/TikTok and to brands/agencies on LinkedIn)
  • Regularly perform SWOT analysis to assess our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, allowing us to optimize our social media presence and benchmark against competitors
  • Create high-level key themes for each quarter and identify focuses for each month (i.e. holidays, current events) 
  • Research trends that complement our social media strategy and/or that of the talent on our roster 
  • Assist in the creation, implementation and marketing of webinars internally and externally 
  • Analyze analytics and adjust strategy as needed 


Content Creation 

  • Create content for Instagram/TikTok around breaking news and industry updates 
  • Utilize “close friends” on Instagram to share content with our exclusive talent (i.e. round-up of social media relevant news, trends they could try, etc., every Monday morning, information talent need around tax time, updates to Shine's service offering)
  • Brainstorm ideas for TikTok, assign concepts to willing team members, and brief team members on how to execute 
  • Work with the talent on our roster that are interested to create collaborative content 
  • Find unique ways to showcase talent that need extra attention 
  • Create marketing materials for company initiatives (i.e. hiring for roles, marketing external webinars, promotion of events + sharing recaps of events)


Community Engagement 

  • General engagement (i.e. respond to comments and DMs) 
  • Interact with our existing brand and agency partners 
  • Support the team’s networking efforts by interacting with potential brand and agency partners over Instagram and/or TikTok 
  • Support casting initiatives by interacting with talent the team is trying to sign 
  • Contribute to talent retention by priortizing talent that are shifting to a new TM, etc.


Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in social media management
  • Have a proven track record of strong communication skills, organization, and proactive thinking
  • Possess a passion for the world of social media and digital marketing

Compensation:

    • Salary: $60,900
