The Opportunity***:


We're looking for a couple of superstar interns to support our Canadian and US teams with an interest in finance or communications, digital marketing, and talent management. We have the ability to hire remotely so the applicants can be out of the Toronto or LA area.


We genuinely love the talent we represent and the team who represents them, so it is important that our new team member is able to jump in and embrace this role and be part of Team Shine.


***Must require an internship for school credit.


What you would be doing:


Talent Management -

  • Pitching talent to brands & creating pitch lists
  • Scouting new talent for management
  • Support with Shine's socials (creating grids, captions, IG stories, website)
  • Support newsletter development
  • Updating internal files
  • Support Shine social events (logistics, set up, on-site support, tear down)
  • Client-related research

OR


Finance -

  • Assist the finance team in administrative work
  • Perform research and analysis using Google sheets and excel
  • Follow up on outstanding AR
  • Handle ad hoc projects

Desired Skills and Qualifications:


Talent Management -

  • Possess a passion for the world of social media and digital marketing
  • Have a proven track record of strong communication skills, organization, and proactive thinking

Finance -

  • Currently pursuing an accounting or finance program
  • Comfortability with Google Sheets and Excel
  • Have a proven track record of strong communication skills, organization, and proactive thinking


Compensation:

    • Please note: the role is unpaid with a $1,000 per month honorarium.
