The Opportunity:


Our talent managers are responsible for making sure the campaigns our talent take on go off without a hitch. In this role, you will negotiate the best possible rate, secure campaign agreements, see campaigns through execution and strategize for the talent on your roster. You will be responsible for proactively pitching talent to the brands they want to work with, meeting or exceeding both personal and talent billing goals, and establishing yourself as someone on the team that brands and agencies can go to as an expert in the space.

What you would be doing:


Leadership:

    • Support the execution of company growth projects
    • Help to onboard and train new team members
    • Lead team status on a rotating basis

Talent Management:

    • Contribute to the team/market billing target by meeting or exceeding personal billing targets
    • Cast and manage a roster of 6-10 talent
      • Ensure talent meet monthly/quarterly billing targets
      • Respond to all incoming outreach
      • Proactively pitch talent to brands and agencies
      • Lead bi-weekly meetings with the talent you represent to provide updates on ongoing campaigns, how leads are progressing, and share strategy
      • Negotiate to secure strong and fair rates for talent
      • Redline partnership agreements and/or work with our in-house contract specialist to finalize partnership agreements
      • Review your talent’s content against the campaign brief for accuracy before submitting to the client
      • Communicate any brand/agency feedback with the talent
      • Ensure content is posted on time
    • Expand Shine’s network by establishing relationships with new brand/agency partners
    • Proactively cast for experienced and emerging talent
    • You'll be responsible for hitting a personal billing target

Admin:

    • Keep Shine’s internal filing system up to date
    • Ensure Shine’s campaign management tool is up to date at all times
    • Work collaboratively with finance and marketing teams to meet the needs of our roster
    • Ensure talent materials are accurate and up to date (i.e. profile on Shine website, media kit)

We would be impressed if you...

  • Have experience managing talent and/or know your way around a campaign
  • Really get the influencer marketing space – you have your eye on emerging talent, campaigns in market, and spot trends before everyone else
  • Know what it’s like to work in an agency or for a fast-paced brand
  • Are familiar with the podcast space
  • Understand how PR and talent management intersect
  • Knew a thing or two about sales tactics

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in talent or campaign management
  • Have a proven track record of strong communication skills, organization, and proactive thinking
  • Possess a passion for the world of social media and digital marketing

Compensation:

    • Salary: $73,500
    • Work From Home & Cellphone Allowance
