Position Overview:

Do you have a passion for home décor, gifting, and styling spaces? Do you love helping customers find the perfect item for their home or a thoughtful gift for someone special? If you’re enthusiastic about recommending products, and working in a fast-paced environment, we want you to join our team as a Gift & Décor Associate!

This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with product selection, and creating an inspiring shopping experience. If you’re ready to help customers elevate their spaces and celebrate life’s moments, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assisting customers in selecting gifts, home décor, and accessories that suit their style and needs
• Providing outstanding customer service and creating a personalized, memorable shopping experience
• Creating and maintaining visually appealing merchandise displays to attract customers and drive sales
• Monitoring inventory levels and restock displays as needed
• Offering styling advice for home décor, seasonal displays, and gift ideas
• Staying up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and seasonal trends
• Responding to customer inquiries and collaborating with other departments to meet customer needs
• Lifting and carrying merchandise and staying on your feet for the full day
• Contributing to a positive, creative, and fun team atmosphere

What We’re Looking For:

• Driver’s license or ability to commute to Headingley, MB.
• A passion for home décor, gifting, and creating beautiful spaces
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Flexibility with scheduling and a strong work ethic
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, manage stairs, and remain on your feet during shifts
• Eagerness to learn about products, trends, and promotions
• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment

• Location: Shelmerdine Garden Centre Ltd. (Must have own transportation—no bus service available)
