Job Description
· Provide technical advice and support to Seratos Consulting team on application systems and network security controls that include, but are not limited to firewalls, virtual private networks, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption and access control measures.
· Investigate and document the technical aspects of security-related incidents, in cooperation with clients, law enforcement agencies or other organizations as necessary. Develop and execute as required relevant IT scenarios for tabletop exercises.
· Actively research security advisories, intrusion techniques, analysis tools, and practices. Recommend and/or implement solutions or improvements.
· Provide digital security oversight and support to Seratos Consulting team on applications, systems, and networks; consult and provide advice on information systems and application development to technical support staff to design and construct security systems using complex information technology tools and processes, within the scope of security policies as well as applicable external laws and regulations.
· Provide advice in the selection, implementation, and management of technical security analysis tools and service providers to assist with the identification and diagnosis of sources to problems.
· Develop and help implement business continuity and resilience plans
Role and Responsibilities:
· Provide support internally and to client in monitoring computer networks for security issues.
· Provide support internally and help investigate as required, security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
· Help clients in implementing security measures for software, systems and cloud computing environments.
· Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
· Work with client security teams to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
· Help clients to fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
· Help client to qualify providers for penetration testing and other related security services.
· Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
· Experience in information security or related field.
· Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
· Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
· Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
· Self-motivated, able to self-manage work and tasks against SLAs and objectives
· Advanced knowledge of computer networks and systems (VPN, firewall, RM)
· Advanced knowledge of user and application access controls and systems (AD, SSO)
· Working knowledge of managing cloud environments (MS Azure and/or AWS)
