OUTCOMES
The Analyst Intern is an entry-level role providing research support and administrative assistance to the Thriving Non-Profits consulting team. The Analyst Intern supports the consulting team by collecting and analyzing financial and survey data, conducting market and sector research, and preparing clear, data-driven reports. In this role, the intern will develop strong analytical, communication, and digital skills while contributing meaningful insights that inform strategic recommendations and advance social innovation and community impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect data from financial statements, surveys, and secondary sources and perform financial and data review.
- Create detailed reports to illustrate findings and support decision‑making with accurate, data‑driven insights.
- Administer surveys, coordinate logistics, compile results and design and analyze questionnaires to ensure reliability and validity.
- Perform secondary research such as market research, benchmarking, SWOT analysis and PESTLE analysis to provide context for client deliverables.
- Gather and compile data from multiple sources, maintain databases and ensure information is up‑to‑date and accessible.
- Assist in the development of strategic recommendations and project planning through data‑backed observations.
- Collaborate with consultants to understand analysis needs and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute analytical perspectives.
KEY SKILLS
- Strong research and data analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Data literacy, basic statistics and spreadsheet proficiency.
- Survey administration and qualitative note‑taking.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, AI platforms, and similar industry standard technology tools.
- Interest in social innovation, social enterprise, and community impact.
