Role Overview

This role, internally referred to as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, will be responsible for running social media accounts, creating and editing content for web and collateral, collecting and reporting on digital data, and supporting on organizing and delivering business growth events.

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will understand the business and be able to create content that effectively targets various industry segments, ultimately driving brand awareness and generating new client pipeline.

This role also involves supporting on the coordination of SB Partners marketing projects and events, as assigned by the Senior Manager, and requires the development and maintenance of professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This is a hybrid position, with typically 2-3 days a week in office or as needed by the business.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Plan and develop effective marketing campaigns through social media, email, and 3rd parties that align with firm/industry events and timelines.
  • Write, proofread, and edit content for all marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice and brand message.
  • Track and analyze and report on the results of marketing engagement activities, campaigns, projects and outreach.
  • Prepare reports, proposal, presentations, and project briefs as requested by Management.
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
  • Use templates to create brand graphics for social media and presentations.
  • Upload approved content to the website, ensuring attention to detail and aesthetics are considered.
  • Active brand ambassador and guardian of the brand identity and standards.
  • Understand the services offered by SB Partners to determine marketing and advertising needs of an establishment.
  • Help with the organisation and coordination of marketing and promotional events, such as conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows
  • Understanding of SEO and Google AdWords.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with colleagues, vendors, and community partners.
  • Conduct market research to inform new campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors and community partners.
  • Support Manager with sponsorship initiatives.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions and physical requirements:

  • Has access to reliable transportation as some travel is required.
  • Sits at a desk for prolonged periods and works on a computer.
  • Works effectively within an open-concept environment with distractions (phones, conversations etc.)
