Be the bridge between technical depth and business outcomes for Saucal’s most important clients. Lead scoping, discoveries, and compliance while ensuring that elite clients see measurable improvements in conversion, performance, and long-term growth.
🔑 Responsibilities
Technical Sales & Discovery (Core)
- Lead scoping and provide accurate ballpark estimates for complex projects.
- Run customer workshops (often multi-team, high-stakes) to extract needs, define requirements, and build business cases.
- Translate client objectives into clear, actionable scopes with measurable outcomes.
- Document findings iteratively to ensure growing alignment across all stakeholders.
Scope Quality, Task Definition & Compliance (Core)
- Mentor and develop junior PMs, ensuring scoping quality standards and long-term talent growth.
- Ensure scopes and task breakdowns align tightly with client expectations and business objectives.
- Manage legal and compliance requirements related to product delivery.
Customer Outcomes & Strategic Value (Added Layer)
- Own definition of success metrics and ensure they are instrumented, tracked, and reported to clients.
- Investigate and resolve high-impact client issues (e.g., conversion drops, site performance degradation, checkout funnel abandonment).
- Translate technical insights (backend response times, Core Web Vitals, GA4 funnels, WooCommerce scaling) into clear ROI for clients.
- Develop reusable playbooks around WooCommerce’s biggest challenges (checkout UX, speed, retention systems).
- Serve as the executive-facing strategist for elite accounts, aligning multiple teams and stakeholders around shared success.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Dev, Data, Finance, and Exec leadership to ensure strategies are executed and outcomes tracked.
- Provide structured, executive-ready reporting to clients, turning technical complexity into business clarity.
- When relevant, guide internal projects and integrate feedback from company leadership into product strategies.
⚡️ Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management or related leadership roles.
- Deep technical fluency: background as a developer (or equivalent hands-on technical experience). Able to dive into code-level discussions and understand system architectures.
- Proven track record leading discoveries, scoping, and workshops for enterprise or high-growth clients.
- Strong consulting skills: able to connect technical issues to business outcomes (conversion, retention, revenue).
- Experience managing legal and compliance aspects of product delivery.
- Exceptional communicator: can distill chaos (Slack threads, technical debates) into clear action plans and client-facing confidence.
