Role Overview
As a Sales Associate at Saucal, you will be at the forefront of driving new business and reaching sales targets. Your primary focus will be on direct sales efforts, client relationship management, and contributing to the company's revenue growth. You will engage with potential and existing customers, identifying their needs and offering solutions that align with their goals, thereby fostering client satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Execution: Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, social selling and online lead generation to meet and exceed sales targets. Occasional travel to industry events and customer locations.
- CRM Management: Managing our CRM (Hubspot) and keeping track of lead sources, to ensure a quick follow-up with the leads.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Opportunity Identification: Analyze customer needs to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, enhancing sales volume and contributing to company growth.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to develop strategic sales plans that effectively address customer needs and drive sales growth.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on individual sales results, track progress towards sales targets, and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve goals.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of the company’s products and services, staying up-to-date with new features and offerings to effectively communicate benefits to clients.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Proven Sales Ability: Demonstrated experience in sales, for approximately 5 years, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
- SaaS and Software Engineering Experience: Experience in Sales, specifically within the SaaS and software engineering sectors, demonstrating a deep understanding of technical products and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
- Consultative Sales Background: A background in consultative sales approaches, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and offering tailored solutions that drive value and success. Able to navigate both long and short sales cycles.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer service skills with the ability to listen to customer needs and provide solutions that meet those needs.
- Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product value and engage customers.
- Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work effectively within a team and organization as a whole to achieve collective sales goals and share insights.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Target-Driven: A proven track record of surpassing goals, with the skills to effectively measure, analyze, and report on sales KPIs.
- Remote Work Capability: Comfortable working in a remote setting, able to maintain productivity and engagement without direct supervision.
- Nice to have: Fluent in Spanish.

Location
- 100% remote.
- Our usual office hours are flexible around 9 am to 5 pm EST/EDT. You are expected to work about 5-7 net hours which you can accommodate according to your timezone, keeping at least 3h for collaboration within that time frame.

Additional information
- Saucal uses a time-tracking software called Hubstaff.
- A computer with a webcam, a microphone, and a reliable internet connection are required. All applicants must bring their own device.
- Selected applicants will be asked to do a test task.
- Based on the test task evaluation, the successful applicant will be hired on a 3-month trial basis.
