KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Content Creation Support

  • Assist with the creation of social content that aligns with RunAsYouAre’s brand voice and strategy, including community highlights, educational pieces, and timely trends
  • Support caption writing, content briefs, and collaboration with designers, photographers, and videographers
  • Help test content formats including short-form video for TikTok and Instagram Reels
  • Support on-camera content creation when needed, including filming, live sessions, and shoots


Social Media Execution and Community Engagement

  • Help manage the social content calendar for Instagram, TikTok, and email marketing for RunAsYouAre
  • Schedule posts and ensure timely delivery of content across platforms
  • Engage with the community through comments, messages, and user-generated content
  • Support event coverage by capturing content, engaging attendees, or assisting with live sessions

Content Organization and Support

  • Keep assets, folders, and creative files organized and accessible
  • Assist with reviewing content for clarity, tone, and brand alignment
  • Support documentation of content best practices and campaign learnings


Trend Research and Idea Support

  • Monitor social and retail trends in running, wellness, and lifestyle
  • Bring ideas to weekly marketing meetings and support content planning


WHAT YOU BRING

  • One to two years of experience in social media or content roles, ideally in retail, wellness, or lifestyle brands
  • Comfortable on camera and interacting with community members
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Ability to work with content across formats including short videos, static posts, and social campaigns
  • Organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with Canva, social scheduling tools, and basic video editing is a plus
  • Enthusiasm for running, wellness, movement, gear, and community


KEY AREA OF FOCUS

  • Support growth of Instagram and TikTok audience
  • Assist in delivering high-quality content to engage the community and drive brand awareness
  • Support email marketing campaigns to increase subscriber engagement
  • Help test and optimize short-form video and live content formats
  • Ensure content aligns with marketing calendar and business priorities


COMPENSATION

The compensation range is $21 to 26 per hour, plus other perks and benefits.
