We're looking for someone who has impeccable French, a good command of written English, and the ability to turn ideas into compelling, accurate, and engaging stories. They must be able to play with words, structure thoughts, edit with precision, and write with intention. They shouldn’t just fill pages, but rather amplify voices, convey visions, and spark reflection. Curious and always on the lookout for new tools, they are also interested in the possibilities offered by artificial intelligence to enhance their creative, ideation or editing processes.


Alright, so what’s the job?

The job is to change the world through the creation of social capital. Artificial intelligence is one of the tools we use to create, analyze, and optimize the tasks below. We’re looking for someone who is forward-thinking, curious, and proactive. They should learn quickly, explore AI with discernment, and maintain a fundamentally human approach.

More concretely, here’s what your day-to-day could look like:

  • Contribute to the creation, writing, and editing of editorial content, such as articles, manifestos, newsletters, social media posts, and scripts
  • Collaborate closely with the strategic, creative, and production teams
  • Write, adapt, or improve texts to ensure that they meet the voice, tone, and objectives of the various brands
  • Ensure the linguistic quality (grammar, syntax, and flow) and stylistic consistency of all deliverables
  • Adapt texts for different formats, platforms and target audiences
  • Contribute to the strategic thinking around key messages and brand narratives
  • Conduct research when needed to back up content with diligence
  • Participate in the creation of creative editorial concepts or narrative content
  • Write and edit short-form captions in French and English for client and agency platforms

What kind of background are you looking for?

That being said, the ideal candidate demonstrates:


Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, whether in an agency, on the client side, in a relevant media outlet, or through personal projects
  • Degree in communications, marketing or journalism, or any other relevant field
  • Excellent writing skills in French and English, both oral and written
  • Curiosity for AI tools applied to writing, editing or ideation, and interest in their integration into the creative process 
  • Keen sense of storytelling, emotion, and rhythm
  • Ability to adapt one's writing to different brand voices
  • Knowledge of SEO principles, digital formats, and best practices in Web writing
  • Critical mind, intellectual curiosity, and stylistic rigour
  • Creative and open mindset, keen curiosity, sense of initiative, autonomy, and versatility


Assets

  • Proficiency in journalism, strategic writing, UX writing, or scriptwriting
  • Familiarity with social, environmental, or cultural contexts
  • Ability to translate content
