Hey there! We’re Relish, a group of innovators that improve how people live, learn, work, and play. Check out some of our recent projects here:

We’re looking for an Associate Producer to help us make stuff that matters through innovation, collaboration, and impact. At Relish, quality doesn’t just mean it works; it means it’s beautiful, respectful, accessible, fast, functional, intuitive, and consistent.

Who are you?

You’re detail-oriented, a team player, and know how to inspire others to produce their best work on tight deadlines. Backed by 1-2 years of experience assisting a Production team in bringing Digital or Games projects to successful launch, you’re known for helping to deliver projects on time and on budget. You’re a quick learner, a superior communicator, and open to new ideas.

  • You’re organized, prioritize tasks well, and can apply time-management techniques (for yourself and those on your project team)
  • You take inputs and quickly translate them into action items–and communicate those clearly, concisely, and effectively
  • You’ve got a track record of building relationships with internal and external collaborators (e.g., teammates and clients alike). You sell-in ideas that get results.
  • You’ve got experience with project management tools (Basecamp, Jira, Forecast, etc.), and can quickly adapt to new software or processes

What, what? That’s me! Tell me more. What would my day look like?

Reporting to the Director of Production, and collaborating with an Intermediate or Senior Producer, you’ll shepherd projects from initial sale (SOW signed) to completion (Client Final Approval). You’ll contribute to the successful delivery of projects in terms of schedule, budget, and fidelity to the brief. You’ll maximize quality and efficient use of company-wide time and resources by ensuring smooth day-to-day production, documentation, and communication of project milestones across all stakeholders:

  • You’ll create and maintain up-to-date production and talent allocation schedules, manage budgets (including invoice processing), and facilitate change-orders
  • You’ll maintain daily communication with internal team(s) (scrums, etc.) and external vendors to manage expectations, clarify changes, and ensure project momentum
  • You’ll proactively anticipate production issues (including, but not limited to, cost overruns, scope creep, quality control, etc.), and contribute to troubleshooting plans that manage or avoid scope creep

Important to know: Since COVID began we have been working remotely. We will likely reincorporate some in-person office time in a hybrid way in the future, so location IS still important (Toronto or Ottawa), but until then your day will start with staying home and hopping into our Google Workspace to lead standups, scrums, and provide regular status updates.

Yeah, I want in! How do we get started?

We thought you would. We need to see or read some evidence of your production experience, how you’ve made an impact on other teams, and understand where you’re located (or if you’re willing to relocate to Toronto or Ottawa to be a part of our team). Apply today or send an email out to if you’ve got questions.

Limited time offer! Don’t miss your shot! This opportunity is only available to those eligible to work in Canada. Preference will be given to those willing to relocate to our Toronto or Ottawa-based studios.
