Qnergy is looking for a Field Service Technician based out of Calgary to support installations, commissioning, maintenance, and customer training across Canada. This role is for people who take pride in doing the job right—and representing the company well while doing it.


What You’ll Do

  • Be the face of Qnergy at customer sites across Canada—professional, prepared, and solutions-oriented.
  • Install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain instrument air systems and remote power generation equipment.
  • Support pre-commissioning, warranty work, and scheduled annual maintenance.
  • Provide remote field support and system/component testing when hands-on isn’t required.
  • Train customer operators and document product, process, and field learnings clearly.
  • Identify and communicate manufacturing or engineering issues discovered in the field.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to get issues solved—fast.


What You Bring

  • Post-secondary technical diploma (electrical, electronics, instrumentation, mechanical, or similar).
  • 1+ year of field experience—compressors, HVAC, rotating equipment, or similar systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with comfort around electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with solid documentation habits.
  • Self-directed, disciplined, and comfortable working independently in changing environments.
  • Confident leading customer training and representing the company professionally.

Work Environment

  • Part of an on-call rotation, including non-standard hours.
  • Frequent travel across Canada, sometimes on short notice, including weekends and holidays.
  • Outdoor work in real Canadian conditions—hot, cold, wet, and everything in between.
  • Physically active role; lifting up to 80 lbs. may be required.
  • Work happens in the office, in the field, and on job sites—this is not a remote role.
