Position Summary:
As the Assistant FOH Manager at National Pines, you will support all front‑of‑house operations with a focus on delivering an exceptional member and guest experience. You help maintain smooth daily service across all FOH areas, reinforce standards, and provide hands‑on support during busy periods. Working closely with the FOH Manager, culinary team, and golf operations, you ensure strong communication and seamless coordination. Your leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to hospitality help create a polished, welcoming atmosphere at the club.

What you’ll do:
- Partner with the FOH Manager to uphold culture, coordinate coverage, and maintain high service standards aligned with Purposeful Golf’s Core Values.
- Coach, train, and mentor staff to reinforce best practices.
- Lead and motivate the FOH team during daily operations.
- Build strong relationships with members, guests, colleagues, and vendors.
- Ensure all FOH areas are clean, organized, and service‑ready.
- Support planning and execution of member and guest events.
- Coordinate event execution with the Head Professional, Golf Staff, and Culinary team.
- Handle guest concerns and escalations professionally.
- Communicate clearly with culinary and management teams to ensure smooth service.
- Occasionally travel to other Purposeful Golf courses for events or training.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and SMART SERVE regulations.
What you bring:
- Previous management or supervision experience in high-volume hospitality or golf course environment.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and liquor regulations (SMART SERVE certification required).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak season events.
- Wine, spirit and mocktail knowledge.

What You’ll Need:
- Comfortability working in a fast past-paced environment with exposure to indoor dining, outdoor patios, and event spaces.
- Collaborative cross-functional teamwork with kitchen, management, vendors, and other departments.
- The ability to meet physical demands include standing for long periods, assisting with event setup, and lifting or moving equipment as required.
- Comfortability with both fast-paced service days and slower periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Compensation:
- $50,000 base salary
- 20 days PTO
