About the role:  As the Dishwasher at Woodington Lake Golf Club, you'll maintain a high standard of kitchen cleanliness by washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment. You will support the culinary team through general cleaning and organization, ensuring a safe, efficient, and positive work environment that reflects the company’s core values.

Purpose Statement: To ensure a clean, sanitary, and service-ready kitchen at all times.

What you’ll do: 

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, ensuring equipment is stored properly and in good condition.
  • Assist in cleaning kitchen tools and supplies with care to protect the club’s investment in dishware and equipment.
  • Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools are properly sanitized to uphold health and safety standards.
  • Support overall kitchen cleanliness, including floors, counters, and storage areas.
  • Collaborates with chefs, prep cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Operates in a safety-conscious environment, following club policies and kitchen protocols.
  • Expected to maintain professional appearance, attire, and behaviour while representing Woodington Lake
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to your Supervisor promptly.

What you bring: 

  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Reliable transportation to and from Woodington lake Golf Club.

What You Need: 

  • Must have a flexible working schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
  • Comfort with both fast-paced service days and slower periods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Physical stamina for walking the course, standing for long periods, bending, and carrying equipment
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (dish racks, supplies, or equipment).

Compensation:

  • $17.60 per hour
  • $16.60 per hour (students)
