About the role:  As the Cleaning Associate at Manitou Ridge, you'll play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and presentation of our clubhouse, cottage, cart barn, and turf maintenance shop. This position is essential in ensuring an exceptional guest experience through attention to detail, professionalism, and pride in maintaining our facilities to the highest standards.

Purpose Statement: To maintain clean, orderly, and welcoming spaces that never detract from the guest experience.

What you’ll do: 

Clubhouse & Shop Maintenance

• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, locker rooms, and high-touch surfaces daily.
• Maintain all flooring and glass to ensure a polished appearance.
• Replenish towels and toiletries; manage weekly inventory and orders with Canadian Linen.
• Regularly clean and maintain bathrooms within the Cart Barn and Turf Maintenance Shop.

Cottage Guest Services

• Perform full room refreshes between stays, including changing bedding, laundering towels, and deep-cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.
• Restock amenities and leave personalized welcome notes for arriving guests.
• Monitor firewood levels, report maintenance issues, and coordinate garbage pick-up with the facilities team.

What you bring: 

• Previous background in housekeeping, cleaning, or facility maintenance is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable and able to work independently while communicating effectively with the broader team.
• Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and able to perform tasks involving lifting and bending.

What You Need: 

• Must have a flexible working schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to and from Manitou Ridge Golf Club.
• Physical stamina for walking the course, standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, and carrying equipment

Compensation:

• $17.60 per hour to $20 per hour depending on experience
• $16.60 per hour (students)
