About the role:  As the Golf Shop Attendant at Manitou Ridge, you’ll deliver a welcoming experience by managing check-ins, retail transactions, and member services. You will support the Professional Staff in executing club events and tournaments while ensuring a professional, organized environment in the golf shop. Your attentive service and operational support are essential to upholding the club’s commitment to a high-quality, people-first culture.

Purpose Statement: To create a golf shop experience that is welcoming, efficient, and full of the right products at the right moment.

What you’ll do: 

• Greeting members and guests in the Golf Shop and assisting with tee time check-ins
• Managing the tee sheet and supporting the daily flow of play through clear communication with the Backshop and Professional Staff
• Assisting members and guests with merchandise inquiries, retail purchases, and golf shop services
• Maintaining the presentation and organization of the Golf Shop, including merchandising displays and retail inventory
• Supporting the Professional Staff with daily golf operations and member service needs
• Assisting with the preparation and execution of tournaments, events, and club programming
• Processing point-of-sale transactions and ensuring accurate handling of member charges
• Communicating effectively with other club departments to support a seamless member and guest experience

What you bring: 

• Friendly, professional demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional member and guest experiences.
• Basic knowledge of golf etiquette and tournament formats; comfortable with POS transactions and retail merchandising.
• Detail-oriented, punctual, and proactive, with the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with Professional Staff, Backshop, and other club departments.

What You Need: 

• Must have a flexible working schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to and from Manitou Ridge Golf Club.
• Physical stamina for walking the course, standing for long periods, lifting up to 50lbs, bending, and carrying equipment

Compensation:

• $17.60 per hour to $19.00 per hour depending on prior experience
• $16.60 per hour (students)
