About the role:  As the Backshop Attendant at Manitou Ridge, you are responsible for the care, staging, and organization of golf equipment and practice facilities to ensure a seamless member experience. Working closely with the Professional Staff, you will maintain the bag drop and staging areas while upholding the club's high standards for presentation and service. Success in this role requires a professional, team-first mindset and a commitment to delivering an attentive, welcoming atmosphere for every golfer.

Purpose Statement: To ensure golfers arrive at a prepared, welcoming, and well-run golf operation.

What you’ll do: 

• Greet members and guests at the bag drop upon arrival/departure
• Maintain the practice facility throughout the day
• Greet golfers upon completion of their round and cleaning clubs
• Maintain and stock the power/push cart fleet
• Ensure cart staging area is kept fully stocked and tidy  
• Assist in the organization and execution of events
• Support the golf services team to ensure that all enjoy a memorable experience.

What You Need: (i.e. work environment, hours, availability, physical demands, elements)

• Must have a flexible working schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
• Comfort with both fast-paced service days and slower periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Physical stamina for walking the property, standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, and carrying equipment
• Reliable transportation to and from Manitou Ridge Golf Club.

Compensation:

• $17.50-$19.00 per hour depending on prior experience.
