About the role:  As a Server at Manitou Ridge, you’ll deliver polished, accurate, and timely service by maintaining a deep understanding of our menu and food and beverage standards. You will collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless guest experience across all dining environments.

What you’ll do: 

• Deliver attentive, personalized service to members and guests, creating a welcoming and member hospitality experience. 
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, offer knowledgeable recommendations, and ensure all service standards are met with care and professionalism. 
• Serve meals and beverages efficiently while maintaining elegance, attentiveness, and awareness of guests’ needs. 
• Adapt service across all food and beverage service areas, maintaining flexibility and consistent quality. 
• Provide elevated service to our experience packages and guest experiences, exceeding expectations, from arrival to departure. 
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of dining areas, including setup and breakdown for daily services, events and functions. 
• Anticipate and respond to members and guests promptly, addressing concerns professionally and involving management when appropriate. 
• Uphold club policies, health and safety standards and SMART SERVE regulations, reflecting the organization’s prestige and core values. 
• Collaborate with team members to foster a positive, growth-oriented environment. 
• Complete end-of-day responsibilities, including closing procedures and securing assigned areas. 

What you bring: 

• Previous experience as a server in high-volume hospitality settings or golf course environments.
• Strong customer service skills with a polished, professional and guest-focused approach. 
• Knowledge of health, safety and liquor regulations (SMART SERVE certification required) 
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and service consistency.
• Ability to confidently explain and recommend menu items, beverages and specials.

What You Need: 

• Must have a flexible working schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
• Comfort with both fast-paced service days and slower periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to and from Manitou Ridge Golf Club.
• Physical stamina for walking the course, standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, and carrying equipment
• Ability to sit for extended periods for administrative tasks or front desk work

Compensation:

• $17.60 per hour plus gratuities
• $16.60 per hour plus gratuities (students)
