Location: Manitou Ridge Golf Club, McKellar ON

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, our Associate Golf Professional will support a welcoming, detail-driven team that delivers an elevated, boutique golf experience, one that feels relaxed, memorable, and worth returning for. The Associate Golf Professional will oversee the daily operations of the Pro Shop, merchandising, member and guest services, and will also play a pivotal role in the organization and execution of group events, both public and private. Manitou Ridge operates as a collaborative team environment, where every team member contributes to delivering first class golfing experiences. 

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Provide and manage an exceptional golf experience to members and their guests and public golfers.
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations, including tee-time reservations, merchandising, and member services.
  • Support Golf Professional in strategic planning and operations
  • Implementing and executing club and outside events.
  • Supervising Golf Services team members.
  • Perform inventory management and purchasing.
  • People management experience
  • Support high volume hours to pro-shop and cart barn
  • Recruit, train and develop front-line team members
  • Collaborate cross functionally across all teams

Qualifications:

  • PGA of Canada Class “A” Member in good standing
  • Valid Drivers License “Class G” 
  • Smart Serve Certification, or willingness to obtain
  • Experience with tournament software (i.e. Golf Genius) 
  • Experience with tee-time management/POS (i.e. Jonas or Lightspeed)
  • High level of commitment and desire to grow as a Golf Professional
  • Experience in organizing and executing group events
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience within a Semi-Private Golf Club setting

Compensation: 

  • Salary: $1,000 - $1,250 weekly, based on credentials and experience
  • Year-End Bonus: TBD
  • Lesson Revenue: Retain 90% of revenue
