Community Manager Role

We are growing and looking for a Community Manager to join our creative & passionate team!
Mint Room Studios is the first and largest interior-designed natural light photo studio in Toronto, however, we are more than just a space to create art. Our vision is to make it a hub for collaboration, photoshoots, events and workshops for the artist community. Duties:
The primary focus of this role is building the largest artist community in Toronto through the execution of various tactics including but not limited to*:
- Building rapport with our existing community, plus other like-minded artists and creators, online and offline
- Online Community Moderation
- Creating Blog posts for the website
- Ideation, Coordination and participation in member events
- Acting as a voice of the brand, replying to general DM’s and comments, representing the company’s voice and engaging with both visiting guests as well as potential clients
- Support in planning, executing and overseeing surprise & delight moments for our brand’s community
- Launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, email newsletters)

Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Obsessed with photography and all things creative
- Energetic, outgoing & uber-enthusiastic
- A self-starter with a type A personality
- Located in Toronto
- Availability + flexibility to sometimes work evenings and weekends
- Having relevant experience and a degree in communications/marketing/business is an asset*
