Proto is including everyone in the conversational AI movement, regardless of gender, geography, income or education level. Our AICX suite and HermesAI™ engine for rare and mixed languages, automate support for the fastest-growing emerging markets, where local language communication is the key to including bottom-of-the-pyramid consumers.
Our AICX suite is designed for 100% of the automation process at multilingual contact centers, with vertically-integrated products for rapid annotation, chatbot design, human takeover, case handling, and dialogue retraining.
Instead of reusing English-based natural language processing engines such as LUIS or Watson, Proto’s AICX solutions rely upon HermesAI™ — a customized engine for Global South languages such as Yoruba, Swahili, Thai and mixed-languages such as Manglish, Chinglish and Taglish, built by an exceptional team of NLP engineers from Taiwan to Malaysia to Ghana.
Our out-of-the-box AICX solutions for financial inclusion, energy distribution, player experience, and patient support are accessible via Fortune 500 enterprises and government entities to over 200 million consumers. These solutions have been designed through competitive sponsorship processes with organizations such as regional development banks, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Omidyar Network, and Rockefeller Philanthropy.
Proto’s global team of 30+ employees work across our priority markets in Southeast Asia, Africa and the Americas. We’re excited to welcome remote-first and SaaS-experienced team members.
HOW WE WORK
Proto’s core values are integral to our ability to adapt and grow across incredibly diverse markets. All team members are expected to fail fast & often and voice local perspectives on everything from sales strategy to product design.
Build fast with usage. We deploy functional products and iterate fast with real-time usage. With this approach, Proto rapidly implements cutting-edge natural language processing technology.
Lead first into frontiers. We target customer segments in underserved markets around the world. With this curiosity, Proto ventures first where others overlook.
Stay hyper-global. We’re a team with Taiwanese developers building Canadian software powered by Thai NLP for Swedish clients based in the Philippines. This won’t change.
Proto’s Marketing department team members have a passion for crisp, localized writing that fuels the content, SEO and lead generation processes. As the Content Manager you would be responsible for the planning and writing of multilingual and data-driven content that connects local perspectives with Proto’s global themes of financial inclusion, consumer protection, responsible gaming, and AI-for-good. Your planning should be aligned with Proto's product roadmap and revenue generation objectives.
Day-to-day, you would be primarily focused on the writing of prime content pieces such as case studies and ebooks. Secondarily, you would manage a team of AICX writers on supporting content such as press releases and social media posts.
