We are currently seeking a Senior IT Operations Specialist, who would be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance and reliability of enterprise IT systems. Acting as a technical escalation point, this role is critical in delivering secure and efficient IT services across infrastructure, endpoints, identity, and core business platforms. The Specialist leads incident management, drives operational excellence, and champions continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will do
1. IT Operations & Service Reliability
- Guarantee high availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems and services.
- Serve as Tier 3 escalation for complex technical and operational issues.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration efforts.
- Proactively monitor systems, logs, alerts, and dashboards to detect and resolve issues.
- Manage system maintenance, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle activities.
2. Systems, Infrastructure & Identity
- Administer and support Windows and/or Linux servers, virtualization, and storage solutions.
- Manage identity and access systems (Active Directory, Azure AD, MFA).
- Oversee endpoint environments (Windows, macOS, mobile devices).
- Support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
- Collaborate with network teams on LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewall configurations.
3. Security, Compliance & Risk
- Enforce security standards, access controls, and operational best practices.
- Participate in vulnerability management, patch compliance, and security remediation.
- Support audits, compliance initiatives, and incident investigations.
- Ensure robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures are tested and effective.
4. Process Improvement & Documentation
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, and SOPs.
- Identify automation opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks.
- Track and report operational metrics (incidents, uptime, SLA performance).
- Drive continuous improvement across IT operations and service delivery.
We would love to hear from you if you have
- A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, systems administration, or infrastructure support
- Strong experience with Windows Server and/or Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365
- Solid understanding of IT service management (ITIL concepts)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs)
- Experience with monitoring, backup, and recovery tools
- Familiarity with endpoint management and device lifecycle management
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Microsoft, VMware, or cloud certifications
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- The ability to manage incidents calmly in high-pressure situations
- The ability to work independently and lead by influence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and operational discipline
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
- Preferred Certifications: ITIL, Microsoft, VMware, or cloud-related certifications.
