IT Technician (1-Year Contract)

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team on a 1-year contract. The successful candidate will provide onsite technical support, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems.

What you will do:

• Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and applications.
• Maintain and monitor network connectivity and resolve connectivity issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and backups.
• Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with IT team on system upgrades and security measures.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• University or post graduate level education in information technology or related field
• 3+ years of IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and peripheral setup.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 1 year
• Location: North York, ON (onsite)
• Schedule: 4 days per week (Mondays to Thursdays)
• Competitive hourly rate
