The role day to day:

  • Lead council meetings and communicate the details through minutes
  • Follow systems and processes to meet multiple timelines for every building you manage
  • Review and approve expenditures, monitor financial performance, and help clients develop budgets
  • Build relationships and find solutions for conflicting parties if necessary
  • Coordinate schedules for required maintenance
  • Supervise building employees including building caretakers

The Details:

Experience & Qualifications

  • Enthusiasm for working with people and systems
  • 3+ years of experience in leadership role
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service field
  • BC Strata Property Management license (or enrollment in UBC Strata Management Licencing course) is an asset
  • Good working knowledge of computer systems including Outlook, Word and Excel is required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean criminal record check
  • Ability to handle multiple things going on at once including multitasking, meeting deadlines and maintaining clear communication with the team and clients

Position Details:

  • $45,000-55,000 annually to start (based on experience and completion of BC Strata Property Management licensing course; negotiable)
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Working evenings/ on-call overnight required 
  • Remote work opportunities once the training has been completed
