Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Vice President will lead a multi-functional team providing support to Procon’s operations in the successful execution of our mining development, industrial, production mining, and equipment supply contracts. The Senior Vice President is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and has overall responsibility for all areas of operations support including purchasing and supply chain, estimating, project controls, and contracts administration, along with developing and maintaining strategic Joint Venture relationships. There will be latitude to re-structure the support services functions to further optimize performance and customer satisfaction – and the Senior Vice President will have the opportunity to lead this change.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional business executive who brings increasingly senior experience in the mining industry with advanced knowledge and experience in one or more fields pertaining to the department. Skilled in identifying and solving complex business problems, the successful candidate will need to be a highly personable and effective relationship builder who can bridge cultures and play a key role in business development.

Centered by our people, Procon’s company culture is driven on the tenets of integrity, innovation, relationships and performance for our clients, business partners and the communities they work in.

This is an incredible opportunity for a driven leader who will champion these values and embrace the opportunity to continue building this successful contracting business, serving both domestic and international markets, from a corporate office base in Metro Vancouver.
