About the internship:
During this internship, you will assist in content writing, social media management, identifying target personas, building landing pages, managing AdWords campaigns and related analytics as well as work with the team to conduct A/B testing to optimize campaigns. This job provides direct career experience by giving an opportunity to develop and modify implementations of CMS systems (WordPress & Drupal) while working in a team with other designers and developers. You will also assist with editing and writing code, and learn an agile project workflow. Your work will enhance the organization’s ability to deliver free skills-based education to youth and other community members.

- Currently a student of/already have a bachelor’s degree in the area of marketing, technology, or another relevant field
- Ability to work in a technology heavy environment and learn new tools and platforms quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bonus Points If You:
- Have 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field
- Are familiar or have experience with the AGILE methodology
- Have experience working with content management systems (e.g. WordPress & Drupal) and familiarity with AdWords and common digital analytics Key Performance Indicators.
- Have worked in a scaling start-up or growing small-business environment
What We Offer:
- $18.00 per hour
- 35 hours per week, 9am-5pm
- Monday to Friday
- Remote, work from home
Eligibility Requirements:
This position is fully funded through Canada Summer Jobs, therefor candidates must be considered youth, and a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Refugee residing in Ontario.
