QA Engineer - Summer Internship

About the internship:

During this internship, you will apply testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to assess the testing process. You will assist with analyzing data and reviewing system logs to identify areas for improvement, and execute test scripts and report results to communicate product quality. Your work will enhance the organization’s ability to deliver free skills-based education to youth and other community members.

• Currently a student of/already have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology or another relevant field
• Ability to work in a technology heavy environment and learn new tools and platforms quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Points If You:

• Have 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field
• Are familiar or have experience with the AGILE methodology
• Have experience working with Selenium, Python and Browserstsck
• Have worked in a scaling start-up or growing small-business environment

What We Offer:

• $18.00 per hour
• 35 hours per week, 9am-5pm
• Monday to Friday
• Remote, work from home

Eligibility Requirements:

This position is fully funded through Canada Summer Jobs, therefor candidates must be considered youth, and a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Refugee residing in Ontario.
