What You’ll Bring (and Build On)

  • Previous experience in fundraising, donor relations, or non-profit administration
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfort with databases (Salesforce experience is a bonus)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
  • Interest in learning more about fundraising strategy and donor stewardship


What You’ll Do

  • Provide administrative support to the Fundraising team
  • Help plan and execute donor recognition and special events
  • Support stewardship activities and maintain prospect records
  • Handle donor inquiries about donations, receipts, and pledges
  • Track outstanding donations and coordinate follow-up
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes
  • Assist with gift processing, receipting, and acknowledgements
  • Keep donor data accurate and up to date in Salesforce
  • Support event logistics, invitations, and follow-up activities


Who You Are

  • Experienced in administrative or fundraising support roles
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
  • A proactive team player who is flexible and self-motivated with a “How can I help?” attitude
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic data entry
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Team player who values collaboration and inclusivity


Nice-to-Haves

  • Salesforce or CRM experience
  • Event planning or donor relations experience
  • Knowledge of CRA guidelines for charitable giving

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Position: Fundraising Assistant
  • Location: 4633 Prospect Lake Road. (3 days in office & 2 hybrid)
  • Anticipated Start Date: February 9, 2026
  • Hours: Full-time – 40 hours/week
  • Compensation: Salary range - $50,000 to $55,000
